Vira Shield 6 + Somnus is for use in healthy cattle at least 3 months of age or older as an aid in the prevention of BVD Types 1 & 2, IBR, PI3, BRSV, and H. Somnus.
This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy cattle, 3 months of age or older against disease caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), bovine virus diarrhea (BVD Type 1 and BVD Type 2), parainfluenza Type 3 (PI3), and bovine respiratory syncytial (BRSV) viruses and Haemophilus somnus. The duration of immunity against BVD Type 2 is at least 11 months.
Give 5 ml IM to cattle 3 months of age or older. Repeat in four to five weeks and once annually. Vaccinate dairy cows at dry-off. Safe for pregnant cows.
