Propylene Glycol is use as an aid in the treatment and prevention of bovine ketosis (acetonemia).
Can be used as a drench or mixed with feed. It is palatable and up to 10% in the feed is acceptable to dairy cows. As an aid in the prevention of ketosis in dairy cattle, feed at the rate of 4 oz. per head daily at calving and continue for 6 weeks. Mix with feed or drench.
