PRESPONSE HM - For the vaccination of healthy dairy or beef cattle seven months of age or older as an aid in the prevention of pneumonic pasteurellosis by stimulating immunity to P. Multocida and as an aid in the reduction of respiratory disease due to Mannheimia haemolytica.
Presponse family of vaccine is for the prevention of pneumonic pastuerellosis, otherwise known as shipping fever. SQ is for the vaccination of healthy dairy or beef cattle three months of age or older as an aid in the prevention of pneumonic pastuerellosis by stimulating immunity to Mannheimia (P.) haemolytica.
This treatment applies to the following species:
Pasteurella Multocida Bacterial Extract-Mannheimia Haemolytica Toxoid
DOSE: Cattle, inject one 2 mL dose intramuscularly using aseptic technique. Although only a single dose is necessary to confer active immunity, a booster dose is recommended whenever subsequent stress is likely. Healthy cattle should be vaccinated a minimum of 21 days prior to shipping or exposure to stress which may precipitate infectious conditions.
