Merck's Nasalgen 3 is a modified live virus cattle vaccine for the prevention of Bovine Rhinotracheitis-Parainfluenza 3-Respiratory Syncytial Virus Vaccine.
This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy cattle, 1 week of age or older against infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) virus, bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV) and parainfluenza 3 virus (PI3).
- Duration of immunity against IBR is at least 195 days, against BRSV is at least 78 days, and against PI3 is at least 95 days.
- Safe for use in pregnant cows or in calves nursing pregnant cows.
- Dosage: 2 ml dose by the intranasal route.
- Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter.
