Sustain III Cattle bolus provides a therapeutic sustained release of sulfamethazine. Each bolus contains 495 grains (32.1 g) sulfamethazine in a sustained release base.
Use these boluses for the treatment of cattle diseases: Bacterial Pneumonia and Bovine Respiratory Disease Complex (Shipping Fever Complex) (Pasteurella spp.), Colibacillosis (Bacterial Scours) (E. coli), Necrotic pododermatitis (Foot rot), Calf Diphtheria (Fusobacterium necrophorum), Acute Metritis (Streptococcus spp.).
DOSAGE: 2 boluses for 400 lbs body weight, 3 for 600 lbs, 4 for 800lbs, 5 for 1,000 lbs. 12 days withdrawal prior to slaughter.
